In order to be eligible to register or join a Team and participate in Team Headquarters, you must be at least 13 years of age and must be member of MyBP. Only one membership in MyBP is permitted per person.
You may access Team Headquarters via either of the following technology platforms: (a) at any time via our website at www.bostonpizza.com/teamhq; or (b) after you are a Captain (defined below) or a Member (defined below), via your iPhone or iPad via the MyBP mobile app.
In order to register a team in Team Headquarters (each, a “Team”), you must first visit the participating Boston Pizza location (each, a “Participating Location”) that you want to be the Team’s home store and at which the Team may redeem Food Credits (defined below) (the “Home Store”) and request a Team Headquarters' invitation code (an “Invitation Code”). If the Home Store approves you to participate in Team Headquarters and provides you an Invitation Code, you must access Team Headquarters via our website at www.bostonpizza.com/teamhq, sign into MyBP, follow the prompts to register a Team and supply the following information: (a) the Invitation Code; (b) the Home Store; (c) the name of the Team, which must be unique and different from any other Team registered in Team Headquarters; and (d) such other information as we may, from time to time, require. The person who registers a Team automatically becomes a member (a “Member”), and the captain (a “Captain”), of that Team.
The first “Year” for a Team will commence on the day on which the Captain registers that Team in Team Headquarters and will expire on the day that is twelve (12) months later. Each subsequent Year for that Team will be a twelve (12) month period commencing immediately after the expiry of the immediately prior Year unless and until that Team is disbanded in accordance with Section 14 below.
Once a Team is registered in Team Headquarters, there are two (2) ways in which additional people may join that Team:
If you are a Captain of a Team, you are automatically a Member of that Team but may not be a Member of any other Team. If you are not a Captain of a Team, you may join more than one Team in accordance with Section 5 above, however, each time you make an Eligible Purchase (defined below) at or from a Participating Location, you may register that Eligible Purchase towards the Aggregate Spend (defined below) of only one Team. Each Team must have a minimum of one (1) Member and a maximum of twenty five (25) Members. A Member may resign from a Team by contacting us at the addresses listed in Section 20 below. A Captain may remove a Member from his or her Team by contacting us at the addresses listed in Section 20 below.
An “Eligible Purchase” means an amount spent by a Member of a Team at or from a Participating Location, whether online, via telephone or in-store, but excluding:
For greater certainty, an Eligible Purchase does not include any amount spent at or from a Participating Location by any person other than a Member of a Team.
The “Aggregate Spend” in respect of a Team means the aggregate Eligible Purchases of all Members of that Team that have been registered to that Team in accordance with Section 10 below.
Each Team will earn credits that may be redeemed for food at the Team’s Home Store (“Food Credits”) equal to ten (10%) percent of the Aggregate Spend for that Team, subject to the following limitations:
Subject to the limitations set forth in this Section 10, each time a Member of a Team makes an Eligible Purchase, whether online, via telephone or in-store, that Member may register that Eligible Purchase towards the Aggregate Spend of any Team of which he or she is a Member by entering the Team Headquarters access code that is located on the receipt for that Eligible Purchase into Team Headquarters: (a) via our website at www.bostonpizza.com/teamhq by signing into MyBP, clicking on the “Team Headquarters” link and entering the access code in the appropriate place; or (b) on a compatible iOS or Android mobile device via the MyBP mobile app and entering the access code in the appropriate place. If you are a Member of more than one Team, then you will have to select towards which Team’s Aggregate Spend you wish to register that Eligible Purchase. Each Eligible Purchase may be registered to one Team only. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Section 10, (i) each Member of a Team may register a maximum of five (5) Eligible Purchases to that Team in Team Headquarters on any given calendar day irrespective of the date on which each Eligible Purchase was made; and (ii) each Member of a Team may register a maximum of three (3) Eligible Purchases to that Team in Team Headquarters that were made on the same date irrespective of the date on which the Member registers them. Upon an Eligible Purchase being registered to a Team in Team Headquarters, that Eligible Purchase will count towards that Team’s Aggregate Spend and will earn Food Credits for that Team, subject to the limitations set forth in Section 9 above.
The Captain of a Team may redeem the Food Credits earned by that Team by visiting that Team’s Home Store and informing the Captain’s server that the Captain wishes to redeem Food Credits. A Team’s Food Credits: (a) may only be used for in-store purchases at the Home Store of the Team; (b) may not be used to purchase alcoholic beverages, gift cards, gift certificates or similar products; (c) have no cash value; (d) may not be exchanged for cash; (e) are not transferable; (f) are not redeemable at any Boston Pizza location that is not the Team’s Home Store; and (g) may not be redeemed by anyone except the Team’s Captain. The Food Credits earned by a Team may be redeemed by the Captain of the Team as many times as the Captain determines, except that no Food Credits may be redeemed during the Team’s first Year until the Team’s Aggregate Spend exceeds two hundred fifty ($250) dollars.
Each Member of a Team may access certain information about the Team by accessing the Team Headquarters platform via one of the methods specified in Section 2 above, including: (i) the Team’s Aggregate Spend; and (ii) the amount of Food Credits the Team currently has.
Food Credits earned by a Team will not expire as long as at least one (1) Eligible Purchase is registered to that Team, or at least one (1) redemption of Food Credits of that Team occurs, during any consecutive twelve (12) month period. Conversely, all Food Credits earned by a Team will expire and be forfeited without compensation (except to the extent prohibited by applicable laws) if no Eligible Purchase is registered to that Team in accordance with Section 10 above, and no redemption of Food Credits of that Team occurs in accordance with Section 11 above, during any consecutive twelve (12) month-period.
A Team may be disbanded in the following manners:
Upon a Team being disbanded in accordance with this Section 14, all Food Credits earned by that Team that have not been previously redeemed in accordance with Section 11 above will automatically expire and be forfeited without compensation.
If there is any dispute or uncertainty regarding any aspect of Team Headquarters, including, without limitation, the identity of any Captain or Member, the earning or redemption of any Food Credits, or the registration of any Eligible Purchases any Captain or Member makes at or from Participating Locations, Boston Pizza’s determination of such dispute or uncertainty will be conclusive and final.
In addition to these Terms and Conditions, Team Headquarters is governed by our General Terms and Conditions, and our MyBP Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated by reference. Our General Terms and Conditions and our MyBP Terms and Conditions, among other things, limits Boston Pizza’s liability to you.
As part of creating or joining a Team, you will be asked whether you consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Boston Pizza, including, without limitation, email, push messaging or text messages. If you consent to receive such electronic messages, such electronic messages may be subject to text message and data rates from your telecom provider. If you consented to receive electronic messages from Boston Pizza and wish to no longer receive such electronic messages, you can click “unsubscribe” on any of those electronic messages, or Contact Us.
Boston Pizza may, in its absolute discretion, revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, without any prior notice or liability to you or any other person, by posting amended Terms and Conditions on www.bostonpizza.com. Your continued participation in Team Headquarters after any amendments have been made to these Terms and Conditions will signify your consent to such amendments.
